The Basic Offshore Safety and Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) Certificate, requires attendance at a course, normally three days duration and includes:

• Safety Induction
• Fire Safety and Basic Fire fighting
• First Aid
• Helicopter Safety & Escape
• Survival at Sea

Many employers require BOSIET and MIST training as well as a medical certificate as a minimum requirement for working offshore.
